How much does DebateLab cost?

As of October 2026, DebateLab has a 3-day free trial with no credit card required, then Pro costs $5/month + tax. There is no permanent free plan. Whether Pro is worth it depends on how often you prepare: if you debate every week or have a tournament coming, it covers heavy prep weeks with higher daily limits and all 10 models. If you need help only occasionally and want to stay free, a general chatbot's free tier or a free practice tool will suit you better.

There is no permanent free plan. After the trial, a subscription is required to continue using DebateLab.

Is Pro worth it for you?

It depends on how often you prepare. Use the trial on a real motion: generate a case, attack it, run one Sparring round and read the verdict. If that loop saved you time, Pro is priced for students who prep every week or have a tournament coming.

If you debate a few times a year, or you need a tool that stays free, DebateLab is probably not the right fit. A general chatbot's free tier can cover occasional brainstorming, and some practice tools are free to use.

Cancelling

You can cancel any time from the Settings page. You keep Pro access until the end of the billing period you already paid for.
