What is impact calculus
Impact calculus is the process of comparing impacts across multiple dimensions to determine which one the judge should prefer.
The six dimensions
Magnitude (how big), probability (how likely), timeframe (how soon), reversibility (can it be undone), scope (who is affected), and link strength (how certain is the causal chain).
When to do calculus
Start in your constructive, reinforce in rebuttals, and crystallize in the final speech. Early calculus frames the round.
